Just wanted to give you an update. Since last weekend things have changed greatly. Ipo follows me around like a love sick fool...he listens better than the dog, the kids and the husband. I changed his living arrangements a bit. Instead of being upstairs where it was hot and he was alone alot, I moved him down stairs where I run the daycare. He has open space and when I let the dog out, he runs into a large crate with a door. He really has changed. I give up on holding him because it wasn't important enough to stress him or my eardrums out.
He sits, he goes in a circle and he only whines when he is left in the crate for longer than an hour. (Note from Kathleen: This is a very young pig. Pigs do not do well being crated for long periods of time.) Both the dog and he seem to realize they are both in it together, yet it becomes a running game when they are left out. So with that I am hoping for some progress soon.
Thanks for all your help and support.

How are you? We are doing just great! He is such a sweetheart and more obedient then the rest of my flock (kids & husband included). Loves to hang out by the crabapple tree...he's a smart cookie!
I ordered him a 10 x 10 kennel to go under the tree and we will put his pool, house and stuff in it during portions of the day. He enjoys outside so much and he's still small enough to push himself under the fence so that's my alternative.
I gave up on holding him. I decided it wasn't important enough and the stress on us all wasn't worth it. Other than that, he's doing well.
Take care,
Michele
